Apartment hunting can be both fun and challenging! Finding an apartment that’s affordable, in a good location and up to your living standards are just the first things you need to worry about when choosing the perfect apartment. Whether you’re a first-time apartment renter, or you’ve been in the game for a while, you’ll want to ask some important questions before you sign a lease and collect your keys. We’ve put together the top twelve questions renters should ask property managers BEFORE signing a lease.

How much is my rent, and how do I pay it?

Rent is due on the 1st of every month and late on the 4th. You can pay with a Personal Check, Money Order, Cashier’s Check or we can set you up with a resident portal and you can pay online. What is the guest policy?

Anyone staying longer than 14 days will need to fill out an application so we can complete a credit check and criminal background check.

How do I get something fixed?

We do have 24 hour emergency maintenance. After hour emergency you would call the office to get in contact with our answering service who will contact maintenance. You can also call the office during business hours and maintenance will complete your work order in 24 hours. If you set up a resident portal you can also enter your own work orders on line.

Does a smoke free policy mean there are no smokers in my building?

We are a smoke free community.

Where can I park?

Parking is open and you can park anywhere that is available.

Do I need renter’s insurance?

Renters insurance is a requirement. You would need to have 00,000 liability.

What if I want to move out before my lease ends?

You would need to give us a 60 day notice and a lease break penalty of 000.00

Can I sublet my apartment?

You cannot Sublet your apartment.

How much can my rent increase?


What if I want to paint my walls, or change something in the apartment?

Per managements approval

Are pets allowed?

We do allow up to 2 pets in the apartment, but we have breed restriction

What will the initial costs be to move in?

Deposit plus prorated rent
